The Vitalize Peel®, a light chemical peel, penetrates the skin’s surface, to thoroughly  and evenly exfoliate the epidermis and reveal  healthier, more youthful looking skin with a smoother texture and more uniform color.

During the peel you may feel a mild tingling or warmth as the solution is applied to the skin and for as long as it remains on your face. Once it has been neutralized, you will no longer feel the sensation.

Immediately following the peel, your skin will look healthy and refreshed. You may resume your daily activities immediately. Your may experience some facial redness, which can be easily camouflaged with makeup. Within 48 hours, you’ll begin to notice mid flaking, which is completely normal and can be controlled with effective moisturizer

It is important to wear sunscreen of at least SPF 30 or higher following your Vitalize Peel ®and to limit sun exposure as much as possible for at least one week.

Who is a Good candidate for the Vitalize Peel®?

Anyone with dry, dull, drab skin, who would like to brighten his or her complexion with very minimal downtime, is a good candidate for the Vitalize Peel®. Individuals with fine to moderate wrinkles, age spots pigmentation problems or sun-damaged skin will benefit from two or more peels over a designated period of time. The peel cannot be performed on pregnant women.

Is There Any Discomfort Associated with the Vitalize Peel®?

Most of our clients feel a mild tingling or warming sensation for a few minutes while the solution is applied. Although they don’t describe it as uncomfortable, they do appreciate holding a fan for a cooling effect. Once the peel is completed, you should no longer feel the warm, tingling sensation.

How much downtime should I expect?
